Cameras observe the day-to-day duties of the staff of North East Ambulance Service as they care for a population of over 2.7 million people. Halfway through a shift an emergency call is received with reports of a high-speed collision involving trapped persons and a patient in critical condition. Chris and Becca and the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service are immediately dispatched to the scene. There is concern for a female patient who they suspect may have a traumatic brain injury
