Charlotte tries to distance herself from Mia following their night out. Jacob has to step in when a patient is sexist towards Mia, although her response disturbs everyone. At the fundraising ball, Leo and Jacob's mutual dislike is palpable, and Mia encourages Charlotte to reconnect with Jacob. But it soon becomes clear she has her own agenda and is manipulating the couple to ensure she gets exactly what she wants
