Lisbon, Jane and the team investigate when a rich, elderly woman's charred remains are found on the floor of a room in her mansion. They find the list of suspects is quite lengthy, including a nephew who was suing her in order to take control of the family fortune, a doctor who was overprescribing her pain medication and an alcoholic acquaintance at a war veteran's home. Jane, though, has a feeling that something about this case hasn't been right from the start
