Celebrity Traitors fans predict Alan Carr as winner of series: 'Playing an absolute blinder'
Fabio Magnocavallo | 11:28am Fri 17 OctCelebrity Traitors fans are convinced Alan Carr could go all the way and win the show following last night’s (October 16) episode.
The comedian, who is currently starring in the hit BBC One show, is playing a Traitor alongside singer Cat Burns and chat show host Jonathan Ross.
During Thursday’s episode, Alan avoided being banished at the roundtable. However, unfortunately for Clare Balding, she received the most votes and was sent packing.
When she stood up at the podium and revealed to the cast that she was a Faithful the whole time, Alan burst into laughter, while others appeared shocked. Still, very few have suspected he could be a Traitor.

Celebrity Traitors fans think Alan Carr could win the show
Fans have been reacting to last night’s show online, and many believe Alan is breezing through the game as a frontrunner.
“Probably delusional but thinking Alan could win the whole thing,” one user wrote on X.
“Alan Carr will win this. The Faithfuls either think there’s no possible way he could be pulling it off as a Traitor, or they trust him too much. He’s playing an absolute BLINDER,” another person shared.
“Alan Carr bursting out laughing when Clare was revealed as a faithful and not one person clocked that. I want him to win if that’s the case because how can they be THAT stupid,” a third remarked.
“I need Alan to win purely because he literally laughed in the Faithful’s faces,” a fourth said.
A fan also shared a poll on whether they believed Alan could win the show. 60 percent voted yes!

‘Joe is the smartest’
Among the cast, viewers also praised former rugby player Joe Marler, who voted for Traitor Jonathan at the roundtable.
“Joe is the smartest but no one is listening to him. And probably out of snobbery,” one viewer insisted.
“Joe Marler is about only one with any common sense,” another expressed.
“Joe Marler, the most intelligent there and honestly thought it’d be Stephen Fry,” another echoed.
