They will both be hitting the ballroom with pro partners when the new series kicks off this autumn.
Here, we take a look at who La Voix, Chris Robshaw are and which other celebrities have already been confirmed for Strictly 2025.

Strictly Come Dancing 2025: Who is La Voix?
La Voix is a performer, singer and presenter. Last year, she competed in RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and made it to the Grand Finale. La Voix was crowned the series runner-up.
La Voix has also appeared on ITV’s Queens for the Night and Paramount’s Queen Of The Universe. In 2014, she fronted the London Gay Big Band and appeared on Britain’s Got Talent. The band made it to the semi-finals.
She has also interviewed TV stars Dawn French, Joanna Lumley, Su Pollard, and Vanessa Feltz. La Voix has performed for the British Royal Family, too, at their exclusive New Year’s Eve ball.
Chris Dennis, the performer behind La Voix, is thrilled to be taking part in Strictly. He said: “I’ve performed for royalty, RuPaul and Simon Cowell, but nothing fills me with more excitement (and quite a bit of terror) than the thought of dancing in front of millions on live Saturday night TV.
“Strictly is a national institution and I can’t wait to get started. All that’s left to say is: good luck to my partner! Here’s hoping they can help me go from La Voix into La Danse.”
Chris Robshaw confirmed for Strictly
Chris Robshaw’s name had already been touted for Strictly before he was confirmed by the BBC. The sports star earned 66 caps for England during his rugby career, and captained the team 43 times.
He spent much of his career at London’s Harlequins RFC. Chris spent his final year of pro rugby playing for San Diego Legion in America’s Major League Rugby. He retired in 2022.
Chris, who is married to classical soprano singer Camilla Kerslake, admits he is nervous about taking part in Strictly.
He said: “This is about as far out of my comfort zone as it gets! I’m hoping to take my dad dancing to a whole new level, and my mum can’t wait to drag me along to her Zumba class. Let’s see if a rugby sidestep works in the Cha Cha Cha.”

The line-up so far
The BBC has already confirmed nine celebrities for Strictly Come Dancing 2025. Gladiator Nitro – real name Harry Aikines-Aryeete – was the first to be announced.
Nitro was followed by ER and Doctor Who actress Alex Kingston, Love Islander Dani Dyer and retired football Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. EastEnders’ Balvinder Sopal has also been confirmed. She joins social media influencer George Clarke.
Less than an hour after La Voix and Chris Robshaw were announced, the BBC confirmed its ninth celeb; model and actress Ellie Goldstein.
Rumoured Strictly celebrities
Fifteen celebrities usually take part in Strictly Come Dancing each year. This means there are six more star dancers to be revealed by the BBC.

Judges and new dancers
The BBC has already confirmed this year’s Strictly Come Dancing pro dancers. They include all of the fan favourites, including Aljaz Skorjanec, Amy Dowden, Vito Coppola and Johannes Radebe.
There are also two new pros joining the Strictly dancer line-up this year. They are Alexis Warr and Julian Caillon. American dancer Alexis has already appeared on So You Think You Can Dance? and Dancing With The Stars. Julian, from Australia, has appeared on the show’s counterparts Down Under, too.
Last week, Gorka Marquez announce he will miss a big chunk of this series. Gorka will also not be having a celebrity partner this year.
The dancer has a clash of schedules after landing a job on the Spanish version of Strictly, called Bailando Con Las Estrella. It means he will only be able to pre-record the group dances for Strictly UK and then bow out until later in the series.
The judging panel is remaining the same this year. Shirley Ballas will be back as Head Judge, sitting alongside Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse.

When does Strictly Come Dancing start?
The BBC is yet to confirm when this year’s Strictly Come Dancing will start, although it usually kicks off in September. Last year, the pre-recorded launch show aired on September 14 and the first live show followed the week after.
The series will air every Saturday in the run up to Christmas. The dreaded results show airs on a Sunday night. The 2024 finale aired on December 14. Last year, Chris McCausland and his professional partner Dianne Buswell scooped the Glitterball Trophy.
