The Celebrity Traitors: When the next episode is on and who is at risk of murder

The Celebrity Traitors is proving to be such a popular hit that viewers are desperate to get their next fix, so here is when the next episode is on.

The BBC show was left on a big cliffhanger last week, with three contestants at risk of murder.

Traitors Jonathan Ross, Cat Burns and Alan Carr are poised to strike again, with another celebrity set to leave Ardross Castle imminently.

But who will the Traitors murder? And when is the next episode on so we can find out? Here’s everything you need to know.

The Celebrity Traitors: Who is at risk of murder?

The last episode of The Celebrity Traitors ended with Jonathan, Cat and Alan plotting who to murder next. Wearing their cloaks under the cover of darkness, the trio narrowed it down to three celebrities.

This means they are most likely to murder Good Morning Britain star Kate Garraway, Welsh singer Charlotte Church or TV historian David Olusoga.

They didn’t appear to actually have any solid reasons for picking the three celebrities, though. Speaking about Charlotte, Jonathan said: “If she gets a bead on any of us, she’s going to run with it. I think people might listen.”

Cat branded Kate “a very good scapegoat”. Alan, rather brutally, added: “If Kate doesn’t come down for breakfast, people will think she’s just gone into a broom cupboard by mistake!”

Jonathan then said of David: “Pros are, he’s smart and he’s analytical. He hasn’t really been focusing on that. I think we are going to see him coming out a bit more aggressive, a bit more perceptive perhaps.”

So expect either Kate, Charlotte or David to be missing at breakfast in the next episode. Unless of course Kate is only lost in a broom cupboard…

What to expect from episode 5

Along with a murder, there will also be another Mission in episode 5 of The Celebrity Traitors. Throughout the series, the celebrities are carrying out Missions to increase the all-important charity prize pot.

The winner of The Celebrity Traitors 2025 will give the prize money to a charity of their choice, with a possible maximum total of £100,000.

As usual, there will be several Shields to be found in the Mission in episode 5. Whoever finds them will be saved from murder the next time Jonathan, Alan and Cat strike.

Shields do not protect the finders from banishment, though, and there will be another Round Table in episode 5. But whether we find out on the night who goes remains to be seen…

When is the next episode of The Celebrity Traitors on?

The Celebrity Traitors returns to BBC One on Wednesday October 22, 2025. It starts at 9pm and runs for one hour.

Episode 6 will air at the same time on Thursday October 23. But on Thursday, lucky viewers will get an extra five minutes!

Last week, BBC bosses confirmed the date for The Celebrity Traitors final. It was announced the series will end and the winner will be crowned on Thursday November 6. The last episode will be a bumper one, running for 70 minutes.
