Coronation Street star Adam Hussain is ‘tipped’ for this year’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!.

Mike Reading, spokesman for betting agents Betway, said: “Adam Hussain looks set for a brand new adventure beyond Coronation Street. With the I’m A Celeb line-up still firmly under wraps, we have priced him up at 7/1 to swap the Rovers Return for bugs, rice, and beans.”

Who is Adam Hussain?

Adam Hussain is a Manchester-based actor. He joined the cast of Coronation Street in 2020 as Aadi Alahan. Adam took over the role from Zennon Ditchett, who had made his first appearance in October 2019.

Although Coronation Street is his biggest gig to date, Adam has appeared in several other high profile shows. They include ITV crime drama The Bay and Prime Video’s Absentia.

In April, Adam confirmed he had quit Corrie after five years. He said: “Over the five years I’ve spent there, I have learned so much about the world and the industry and now feel I am ready to spread my wings a little.”

Last week, Adam told his followers on Instagram that he currently filming a horror comedy action film called Steel Donkeys.

Rumoured line-up

Unlike its All Stars spin-off I’m A Celebrity…South Africa, there has only been a few names tipped for this year’s series Down Under. The other rumoured celeb campmates include footballer Jack Grealish and Jamie Oliver’s wife Jools.

The All Stars series, which is being filmed this autumn in South Africa, has a much longer list. Former campmates who have reportedly been approached to take part include football pundit Harry Redknapp, boxer David Haye and Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts.

When does I’m A Celebrity start?

There is no confirmed return date for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! as of yet. But usually, the series kicks off in November.

Last year’s launch show aired on Sunday November 17 on ITV1. The finale took place three weeks later on December 9. McFly star Danny Jones was crown the winner, with Coleen Rooney finishing in second place.

Who will host?

ITV has confirmed Geordie duo Ant and Dec will once again host I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!. This is no surprise, given they have been at the helm since the first series aired in 2002!

Ant and Dec – full names Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly – have got a busy few months ahead. Before jetting to Australia, they will be flying to South Africa to film the All Stars spin-off.
