Ashley Roberts and David Haye are in ‘advanced talks’ for I’m A Celebrity’s All Stars spin-off series, according to reports.

The pair are both said to have been approached by ITV bosses about a return to the jungle.

David first appeared in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in 2012 and came third. Pussycat Doll Ashley starred in the same series and was runner-up to winner Charlie Brooks, aka EastEnders’ Janine.

The All Stars series is filmed in South Africa and features alumni from past I’m A Celebrity series’. Here’s everything we know about I’m A Celebrity…South Africa so far.

I’m A Celebrity All Stars: Ashley Roberts

Ashley Roberts, 43, is best known for being one sixth of the US girl band The Pussycat Dolls. She made her I’m A Celebrity jungle debut in 2012 and made it to the final.

These days, Ashley works for Heart FM and provides the showbiz news on Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden’s Breakfast Show. Insiders have described Ashley as a “strong contender” for I’m A Celebrity’s All Stars spin-off.

“There are some great names in the mix,” a source told The Sun. “The team are spoilt for choice, but Ashley is a very strong contender.”

David Haye

David Haye, 44, is said to be close to signing up to the next series of I’m A Celebrity…South Africa, too. It comes following reports that the former world heavyweight owes £600,000 in unpaid tax.

Bosses are also keen on the idea of David spilling the beans on his “throuple” relationships, it has been claimed. Together with his girlfriend Sian Osborne, David has dated other women at the same time. In 2023, he was pictured on a beach with both Sian and pop star Una Healy from The Saturdays.

A source told The Sun: “David was delighted to get the call from ITV. As viewers know, no chats are off-limits around the campfire, so they can expect to see David grilled over his quirky relationships.”

Rumoured line-up

ITV is yet to confirm exactly who will be flying out to South Africa for the All Stars spin-off. But there is already plenty of rumoured names floating around!

Football pundit Harry Redknapp, 78, is reportedly “on the brink” of signing for I’m A Celebrity…South Africa. In 2018, the jam roly poly-loving star became the show’s oldest winner aged 71.

Gemma Collins, 44, is also said to be in talks about making a jungle comeback. In 2014, Gemma – who found fame in reality show The Only Way Is Essex – lasted just three days in the jungle before quitting. She walked away after having a panic attack in a stationary helicopter.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Seann Walsh is also rumoured to be taking part in the All Stars series. The comedian first appeared in I’m A Celebrity in 2022 and finished in fifth place.

Seann’s jungle experience came four years after his infamous Strictly stint, which saw him kiss dance partner Katya Jones. The 39-year-old was in a relationship at the time and Katya, 36, was married to fellow pro Neil Jones.

But although he faced a massive backlash at the time, Seann’s I’m A Celebrity appearance managed to soften public opinion of him.

Former Emmerdale star Adam Thomas has also been approached, according to reports. The actor, who now stars in BBC One’s Waterloo Road, finished I’m A Celebrity in third place in 2016.

When is I’m A Celebrity…South Africa?

I’m A Celebrity…South Africa, which is dubbed All Stars, is a pre-recorded series. It will be filmed in Kruger National Park in South Africa. Filming is due to take place this autumn and it will air in 2026.

Given the pre-recorded format, there is no public vote. This means viewers are unable to pick which celebs take part in the trials and who they want to crown the winner.

Instead, the stars will be gradually whittled down with a series of challenges. Two will appear in the final. In 2023, Myleene Klass and Jordan Banjo were the last two celebrities standing.

The pair were given a very yucky eating challenge that left Myleene vomiting in a bush. But, as she ate the most dishes, she was crowned the I’m A Celebrity ‘Legend’.
